When computing the numbers of days of Hospitalization leave taken by an employee, will non-working days, rest day and public holidays be included?
Hospitalization Leave and Medical Leave only meant for the working days, which mean non-working days and rest day shall be excluded.
This is also applied to those who are working shift with only 3 working days per week. For example, if an employee's working shift pattern is 3/4/3/4 and he is given a full one month hospitalization leave (1 Nov to 30 Nov). The working days shall be taken to count the Hospitalization leave, which mean about 14 days (3+4+3+4) leave will be deducted.
