I have a question on public holiday entitlement during maternity leave. The company normally credit a day to annual leave when public holiday leave falls on Saturday (we work on 5 day week). If employee on maternity leave, is she entitled to the additional day leave?
Maternity leave is calculate based on number of days or week, which inclusive all the off day, rest day and public holiday. Which mean, the employee will not enjoy any public holiday during the maternity leave.
