Whats the average medical cost cap now for executives e.g. $500 or $600 per year?
Whatever amount set is only an indicative by the employer. Under the employment act, If the employee has worked for at least three months, the employer is legally obliged to bear the medical examination fee (i.e. medical consultation fee). For other medical cost such as medication, treatment or ward charges, whether or not the employer is obliged to bear such costs would depend on the medical benefits provided in the employment contract of the employee.
For exampler, eventhough you have exceed the S$500 cap of the company set, you have right to claim the subsequent expenses for the medical consultation fee. Please note is the consultation fee, but not the medicine and etc.
