The employee is PR, working for the current local company around 5 year, position is senior project engineer, monthly basic salary is S$3190.
(I am confused on some exception status of employment Act, so hope can get direct answer from you base on the information given)
1, For child care leave
His child was born on march-2005, is PR also,
-- Does this employee entitle the child care leave?
-- If have the entitlement, but the company never inform him that he entitle the CCL, and he also don't know this entitlement before, now can he claim the passed years CCL?
2, For annual leave
His initial year annual leave was 12 days per year, so far, still 12 days per year,
-- Does he entitle annual leave increment for 1 day per year?
-- Any guide line on this case?
1. Yes, the employee is entitled to 2 days of paid childcare leave (CCL) for child who is below the age of 7 years any time during the relevant period (any 12-month period as mutually agreed between the parent and his employer to take the CCL).
Any unutilized CCL within the leave year will be considered forfeited.
2. It depends on the company’s leave policy.
No statutory minimum leave for seamen, domestic workers, or employees in managerial or executive positions. For regular employees covered under employment act, minimum 7 days with 1 additional day per year, up to a maximum of 14 days. (illustration as below)
