Does the required length of service stipulated in the training bond would include the length of notice period when one resigns? Say, training bond requires 1 year length of service, then I tender resignation with 1 month notice, effective on the day the 1 year length of service is completed. Is that acceptable?
Generally, training bond should form as a separate agreement from your employment agreement. Refer to your training bond whether there is any terms and conditions that deny the concurrence.
If your training bond indicates your bond commencement period is 1 year, i.e. 01 Jan 2012 to 31 Dec 2012. And you are required to give 1-month notice for resignation, you can tender on 01 Dec 2012 and last day of service will be on 31 Dec 2012.
