Is a staff allowed to take hospitalization leave during maternity leave?
Employees are not entitled to paid medical leave while on maternity leave. They are not eligible to claim for medical expenses incurred in connection with the delivery of her child, unless it is provided for in the employment contract. Maternity leave is similar to other pre-approved leaves, similar treatment applies.
