validity of service bond contract

I am having this problem with my service bond contract. I signed a 1 year service bond contract, but I was very unhappy with my job, and decided to leave. According to the contract, I will be liable to compensate 10k SGD.

My question is, is this bond valid, as this company does have not invested in me, nor send me for training.

It is an amount that in the agreement and you have agreed to it, you shall ask this question before you signed the service bond contract. Whatever the amount is, you are liable to pay unless you challenge them in the court under civil suit case.

As your stated that Company neither invest nor train you, you may seek help from Ministry of Manpower to lodge a complaint on unfair employment, to ask the employer to explain and calculate how they have trained or invested S$10k on you during your stay with the company.
