I am currently working for this company since 15 August 2012.
I would like to find out if i am entitled to PRO-Rated 13mths?
In my Letter of Offer, it was stated
Probation: You are required to serve a probation period of eight (8) weeks after which your service will be confirmed subjected to a satisfactory performance.
The probationary period may be extended or shortened at the absolute discretion of the company. During the probationary period, the appointment may be terminated by either party giving two (2) weeks notice in writing to the other party, or on the payment of two(2) weeks salary in lieu of notice.
Base Salary: Your salary will be eg. S$2000 SGD per month, which will be paid 13 months per year.
So am i entitled to PRO-RATED 13mths??
13-month or AWS is based on the individual company policy and it is governed under the MOM. To clarify on your enquiry, you shall seek your HR for clarification.
