I joined the company on 1 Oct 2011 and leaving company on 31 July 2012. My annual leave entitlement is 18 days.
The formula used to calculate my pro-rated 2011 leave is based on "MOM recommendation" :
no. of months worked x 7 days

For 2012, the leave entitlement used was 18 days.
Is the 2011 method correct?
For Year 2012, No. of months worked / 12 *Annual Leave Entitlement
7 / 12 * 18 = 10.5
For Year 2011, No. of months worked / 12 * Annual Leave Entitlement
3 / 12 * 18 = 4.5
