I have some enquiry regarding salary calculation. I tender my resignation on the 27th august and I have to serve one mth notice which is till 27th September. So how do I calculate my August salary? Must I contribute to CPF since 28th August 2012 falls on Friday and 29, 30 August 2012 falls on weekend? Does it still considered that I work full month or?
For resignation tendered on 27 August, your last working date should be on 26 September (for one month notice). It does not have any impact for your August salary as you still worked full month for August, regardless whether it is Sat/Sun/or even public holiday. Your CPF contribution shall also be made till your last working date, 26 Sep.
