Assuming your employee is not performing shift work, the longest allowable interval between two rest days is 12 days. This is under the Employment Act regulation for all employees, regardless whether you are local or foreign workers.
2.According to MOM regulation, the 72 hours should not include Sunday as it is a rest day.Is this true?
Rest day can be on a Sunday or any other day. Employer should determine the rest day and inform the employee before the beginning of each month.
