If a person work in late evening shift (6PM to 2 AM) or night shift (10 PM to 7 AM), should company pay night shift allowance?
It is not regulated that the company shall pay the night shift allowance for employees who required to perform night duty or odd hours. It is depending on individual company policy to attract and retain their employees at the reasonable compensation.
If company not paying shift allowance and simply give free 1- way CAB, can they do so?
For employees who required to travel to workplace, company has the right not to pay the transport claims. Again, it is much depends on the employment contract at that point of hiring.
